                        What We Believe

                        Scripture
We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the Word of God. We
believe in verbal, plenary inspiration in the original writings, and God's preservation of His pure words to every
generation.   We believe the King James Version of the Bible to be the preserved Word of God for English speaking               people.  The Bible is our sole authority for faith and practice and the King James Bible is used exclusively in all services,
                               classes, and outreach ministries.
                                - Psalm 12:6-7, 1 Thessalonians 2:13, 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21

                        The Trinity
One God eternally exists in three Persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Godhead is co-eternal in being,            co-identical in nature, co-equal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfections.
                               - Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 3:16-17, Matthew 28:19, John 1:14, 1 Corinthians 8:6, Ephesians 4:6, 1 John 5:7

                        The Son
Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, who became flesh , was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the
cross, was buried and resurrected from it to purchase salvation for all who will accept Him, and He now sits at the right
                               hand of the Father.
                               - Matthew 1:18-23, John 1:1 & 14, Philippians 2:5-8, 1 Timothy 3:16

                        Sin
God created man in His image. Man sinned in the Garden and then received not only physical death but spiritual death
which is eternal separation from God in hell. Because of Adams sin, all are born with a sin nature.
                               - Genesis 1:26, Genesis 3:16-19, Romans 5:12

                        Salvation
We believe that the clear message of salvation is “repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ”.                We believe that salvation is "by grace" plus nothing minus nothing. We believe that men are justified by faith alone              and are accounted righteous before God only through the merit of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
                               - John 3:16, John 6:47, John 14:6, Romans 10:9-10, Ephesians 2:8

                        Baptism
After salvation,  you must be baptized by scriptural immersion as an outward symbol of your faith and obedience to
                               God's Word.
                               - Matthew 28:19, Acts 6:36-38 Romans 6:3-4, 1 Corinthians 12:13

                        Assurance of Salvation
All true believers, having been born into the family of God, are possessors of everlasting life, shall never perish and are            eternally secure.
                               - John 10:28-29, 1 Peter 1:3-5, 1 John 5:13

                        Separation
As children of the Lord, we are set apart. We should endeavor, by God's grace to live a consistent Christian life and
refrain from worldliness and conduct ourselves in such a way as not to be a stumbling block.
                               - Romans 12:1-2,  2 Corinthians 6:17, Ephesians 2:10, Colossians 3:1-17

                        The Lords Supper
The Lords Supper is a commemoration of His death until He comes, and is to be celebrated periodically. It is a
memorial of what Christ did for us.
                               - 1 Corinthians 11:23-30

                        The Second Coming
We believe the "Blessed Hope" of our Lord's return is literal, personal, visible, imminent, pre-millennial, and
pre-tribulational. He will rapture His Church prior to the seven years of tribulation, and at the end of the tribulation            Christ will return with His saints to establish His one thousand-year reign on the earth.
                               - I Thessalonians 4:13-18, Titus 2:13, Revelation 19:11-16; 20:1-6
