Restoring the Paths

Isaiah 58:12 reads, "And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places; thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations, and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in."

We live in a world full of brokenness. Our nation is crumbling, our churches are deteriorating, our schools are falling apart, our homes are being ruined, and even our hearts are in desperate need of repair. We need to be working diligently each day to putty the cracks inside and around us. Only by humbly seeking the Lord, submitting ourselves to His will, and by being doers of the Word can we strengthen the foundations that already exist, lay some new foundations, and give future generations a strong, sturdy path to follow.

Remember, as with most jobs, many hands make light work. So, don't leave it up to your friend or neighbor. Do your part to be a repairer of the breach, a restorer of the paths, and let's together make a difference!
