Lighthouse Baptist Christian Academy is the result of our burden to see Christian families enabled to place their children in a quality Christian school at an affordable price. Our school is an arm of the church re-enforcing the Baptist Christian home in the total education of children. As such, LBCA presents parents with the opportunity to educate their children in harmony with the Word of God.

At LBCA, Christian education is far more than simply adding Bible study to a regular school; it has the Bible as the foundation for all that is done in the entire program. It is our belief that all truth is God's truth, and we seek to integrate the entire program so that the student receives a world view placing God and Christ at the center, and viewing all else as related to them.

Our Curriculum

At LBCA, we use Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) as our curriculum.  ACE has high Biblical and academic standards and has remained committed to setting children on a path for success. That goal is still the same today: to prepare children for the world today and give them the academic and spiritual tools necessary to achieve their God-given potential. 

Accelerated Christian Education's concepts are based on the following Five Basic Laws of Learning:
  1. A child must be at a level where he can perform.
  2. He must have reasonable goals.
  3. His learning must be controlled, and he must be motivated.
  4. His learning must be measurable.
  5. His learning must be rewarded.

  1. A solid, mastery-based, back-to-basics education for their child.
  2. A course of study diagnostically individualized to meet a student's specific learning needs and capabilities.
  3. A program incorporating Scripture, Godly character building, and wisdom principles.

  Our staff has regular continuing education opportunities so that they may be able to excel at their job, learn several different teaching styles, and to renew their enthusiasm for teaching so that they may become a teacher that is able to help each student on an individual basis.
